ConsentLift measurement method changes.
1 October 2026
Measurement method change (live at 09:00 UTC; 1 October mixes both methods). Until this date, when the consent platform emitted the same decision several times during one page load — same action, same categories — every emission was counted. Since then, a decision identical to the previous one in the same page load is no longer counted; a change of mind, such as accepting then rejecting, is still counted each time. Rates measured before and after this date are not comparable: ConsentLift shows no comparison that crosses this date.
22 September 2026
Measurement method change (live at 20:58 UTC; 22 September mixes both methods). Until this date, a decision already stored by the consent platform and replayed automatically when a page loaded — on a following page or on a later visit — was counted as a new decision, and a banner was counted as shown at the same time, even when none had been. Since then, a decision counts only if it is expressed during the page load, and a banner only if it was actually shown. Rates measured before and after this date are not comparable: ConsentLift shows no comparison that crosses this date.
